I have always been interested in amateur radio, but had been
deterred from gaining my license by the exams required. In early
2002 I was speaking to a friend of mine, who explained about the
Foundation License, this certainly rekindled my interest.
Searching the Web I found my local radio club the Stevenage and District Amateur
Radio Society and signed up for the Foundation

Studying For The RAE
The M3BBZ call was a great start. But what I really wanted was to build, and have the potential to operate abroad, a full license was the only way ahead. So I started to study for the RAE

Passed the RAE and now have my new call - M1HOG
